Terms and Conditions of Use — TRAMA
Last updated: August 16, 2026 · Version: 1.2
1. Acceptance of the terms
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the TRAMA mobile application and its associated services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by the owner of TRAMA (“TRAMA”, “we”).
By downloading, installing, accessing or using the Service, you state that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- User / you: any person who accesses or uses the Service.
- Account: the personal registration that allows you to sync progress and take part in rankings and groups.
- User Content: any data you upload, including your profile name, group names and optional demographic data (country, year of birth).
- TRAMA Content: the games, texts, designs, trademarks, code and other materials provided by us.
- Ranking: the leaderboards (global, by country, by age group and by group) based on Users’ scores.
3. Eligibility and minimum age
3.1. The Service is available to persons 13 years of age or older.
3.2. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you state that you have the consent and supervision of your mother, father or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service.
3.3. Use by children under 13 is not permitted. If we detect an account belonging to a child under 13, we may suspend or delete it, together with its data (see the Privacy Policy).
3.4. By using the Service you state that the information you provide is truthful and that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
4. Accounts
4.1. You can use much of the Service without an account (“local-first”). Some features —sync across devices, rankings and groups— require you to register with an email and password, or through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
4.2. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your Account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4.3. Passwords are stored encrypted (hashed), never in plain text. Even so, you are responsible for using a strong password that you do not reuse.
4.4. You may close your Account at any time. We may suspend or cancel it under clause 15.
5. License of use
5.1. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
5.2. You may not: (a) copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law; (b) resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service; (c) circumvent technical measures, usage limits or anti-cheat mechanisms; (d) use bots, scrapers or automation; (e) systematically extract or reuse the content or data of the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or the rights of third parties.
- Manipulate scores, rankings or the game system (including submitting false times or results). Scores are validated server-side and we may invalidate suspicious results.
- Upload content (e.g. group names) that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, that infringes the rights of third parties or that includes other people’s personal data without their consent.
- Harass, impersonate others, or use the Service for spam.
- Interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the Service.
Breach may result in the removal of content, or the suspension or cancellation of the Account, without prejudice to other legal action.
7. User Content
7.1. You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce and display it for the sole purpose of operating and providing the Service (for example, showing your name and score in a ranking or group).
7.2. You state that you hold the necessary rights to the User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
7.3. We may moderate, filter or remove User Content that violates these Terms, with no obligation to monitor it in advance.
8. Rankings and groups
8.1. Visibility. When you take part in rankings or groups, your profile name, score, medals and position become visible to other Users in the same scope (global, country, age group or group). Do not use as your profile name any data you do not want to expose.
8.2. Groups. Any registered User can create groups and invite others through an invitation code or link. The creator (“owner”) can delete the group; if the creator leaves it, administration is automatically transferred to another member. You are responsible for the name and use of any group you create or manage.
8.3. Demographic data. Country and year of birth are optional and are used to build rankings by country and by age group. You may choose not to provide them.
8.4. No guarantee of competitive accuracy. We make reasonable efforts to keep rankings fair, but we do not guarantee their permanent accuracy; we may recalculate, correct or reset leaderboards, and sanction cheating.
9. Intellectual property
9.1. The Service and all TRAMA Content (including games, generators, texts, the “Editorial cálido” design, logo, trademarks and code) are owned by TRAMA or its licensors and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
9.2. Except for the limited license in clause 5, no right in the TRAMA Content is transferred to you. Trademarks and distinctive signs may not be used without prior written authorization.
10. Purchases, subscriptions and premium features
10.1. The app offers an optional one-time purchase (“No ads”) that permanently turns off ads and grants, without advertising, the rewards that would otherwise require watching an ad (hints, new boards, extra challenges). It is a non-consumable product: it is not a subscription, does not renew and does not generate recurring charges. The Service may offer, now or in the future, other premium features or in-app purchases (“IAP”).
10.2. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are also governed by those platforms’ terms. The price is shown in your currency before you confirm; billing and refunds are handled under the policies of the corresponding store. We do not process payments or access your card details.
10.3. You can restore the purchase at no cost on your devices using the same store account, from Settings → “No ads” → “Restore purchase” within the app. If you also use a TRAMA Account, the purchase is linked to it and is also reflected on your other devices where you are signed in.
10.4. If the Service were to offer subscriptions in the future, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise, they would renew automatically until cancelled from the store, and you would be responsible for cancelling in time.
11. Advertising and third-party services
11.1. The Service may display advertising (for example, through Google AdMob) and use third-party services (Google authentication, hosting, analytics). Those third parties may collect data under their own policies; see the Privacy Policy.
11.2. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of third parties or of linked sites. Your relationship with advertisers or third parties is exclusively between you and them.
12. Availability, changes and “local-first”
12.1. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, its features or content, in whole or in part, at any time.
12.2. Part of the Service works offline (local-first); local progress may not sync if there is no network or account. We do not guarantee that generated content, sync or rankings will be free of errors or interruptions.
12.3. We may carry out maintenance, updates and fixes that temporarily affect availability.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including —without limitation— warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that your data or streaks will be preserved. Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable rights granted to you by consumer protection law (Uruguay’s Law No. 17.250 and similar rules).
14. Limitation of liability
14.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRAMA and its owners, collaborators and suppliers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, or loss of data, streaks, scores or opportunities, arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
14.2. To the extent permitted by law, TRAMA’s total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you have actually paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD 50 (fifty US dollars).
14.3. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by mandatory law (including wilful misconduct or public-order consumer protection rules).
15. Suspension and termination
15.1. We may suspend or cancel your access, in whole or in part, with or without cause, and especially in the event of breach of these Terms, fraudulent conduct or risk to the Service or third parties.
15.2. You may stop using the Service and delete your Account at any time.
15.3. Termination does not affect the clauses that by their nature must survive (intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law).
16. Indemnity
You agree to hold TRAMA harmless against claims, damages, losses and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your breach of these Terms or of the law; or (d) the violation of third-party rights.
17. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms. We will publish the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, in the case of material changes, we will try to notify you by reasonable means (e.g. within the app) and ask for your renewed acceptance. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect implies acceptance of them. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
18.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
18.2. For any dispute, the parties submit to the ordinary courts of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, without prejudice to the non-waivable rights that consumer protection law grants the User to go to the courts of their place of residence.
18.3. If you use the Service from other jurisdictions (e.g. Brazil or the European Union), local mandatory consumer and data protection rules may also apply.
19. General provisions
- Severability: if a clause is declared invalid, the remaining clauses remain in force.
- No waiver: failure to exercise a right does not imply its waiver.
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Service.
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Service.
- Force majeure: we are not liable for failures to perform arising from causes beyond our reasonable control.
- Language: in the event of discrepancies between translated versions, the Spanish version prevails.
20. Contact
For questions about these Terms, you can write to us through the contact channel published on TRAMA’s listing in the App Store or Google Play, or from within the app when available.
Annex A — Apple App Store (EULA)
If you downloaded TRAMA from the App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and TRAMA, not with Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; (c) in the event of a failure to conform, Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) and, to the extent permitted, will have no other warranty obligation; (d) Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the product, nor for third-party intellectual property claims; (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You state that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo nor on any list of prohibited parties.
Annex B — Google Play
Use of TRAMA downloaded from Google Play is additionally governed by the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and policies, insofar as applicable.
